Thank You for a Successful Bowling for Books—We’re Almost at Our Goal! 🎳📚
🎳📚 What an Incredible Day for Bowling for Books! 📚🎳
The West Hartford Rotary Club is thrilled to share the success of our Bowling for Books event this past Sunday! Nearly 90 people came together for a day of fun and community, and we’re proud to say we collected over 1,500 books and raised more than $4,000 to support students in need across Greater Hartford.
A special shoutout to Jillian Forrest, who organized this event with our event chair Bennett Forrest as part of her bat mitzvah project. Her hard work, dedication, and leadership were truly inspiring.
We’d also like to thank our amazing partners:
• Principal Joy Wright & King Philip Middle School
• Principal Shannon Mlodzinski & Aiken Elementary School
• Allison and Marcel Lessard at Lessard Lanes
• Matt and Kevin from Small State Provisions
• The Miale Team at Keller Williams Realty
• Rabbi Howard Rosenbaum & Congregation Beth Israel
• Westfarms Mall
To everyone who participated, donated books, or contributed to the cause—thank you for helping us make a real impact. Together, we’re putting books in the hands of children who need them most.
Here’s to the power of community, kindness, and literacy! 📚🎳
P.S. If you haven’t yet, there’s still time to contribute and be part of this amazing effort. We’re almost there! We’re just $400 away from our $5,000 goal—your support can make all the difference!
