Twenty six Rotarians and guest speaker Andrea Barton Reeves from HARC met for a regularly scheduled meeting on Monday Sept 12th.

PDG Eileen "Elaine" Rau - Foundation Moment.  She reported that three new cases of polio have been reported in Nigeria, which had previously been reported polio-free.  Donations to the Polio Plus campaign are matched 2 for 1 by the Gates Foundation.

Hap Leabman nominated Michael Fishman from A Hand Up as a candidate for an Honorary Paul Harris Award - his name will be forwarded to the District.
 
Fernando Vidal - announced the Liberty Bank / Rotary Club food drive will be kicking off soon and will run 11 Oct - 19 Nov.
 
Guest Speaker Andrea Barton Reeves, President of HARC, gave a presentation / update on HARC.   She noted demand growth in two key demographics - children with needs who reach 18 and leave the public schools, and older, retiring adults who will no longer be able to care for their children with needs.
