MINUTES FOR THE MEETING OF MONDAY, SEP. 16, 2013

PE Cindy gave the invocation, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. 

President Hap and others made several announcements:

- The Club will participate in the Liberty Bank Food Drive again this year. The bank will match up to 25 % of contributions from our Club and members. The Board decided to seed this with $500 plus all Happy Dollars from Oct. 1. through Thanksgiving. Last year, we made a contribution of $2,170.90 to the food bank.
- PDG Eileen promoted the Foundation Dinner coming up on Nov. 7.
- Don Chandler announced the Foundation Seminar on Sep. 30.
- Don Chandler talked about the Zone Success Seminar.
- The fund rasier at Sweet Frog netted the club about $250
- Cindy thanked all the volunteers for their help at our successful Lobster Fest. The Club made over $8,000.
- Sgt. At Arms Todd noted that RC West Hartford will be working the Amber Alert booth at the Big E on Sunday, Sep. 29

Sgt. At Arms Todd collected happy dollars, notable that he proposed to his girl friend Valerie, and she said yes! 

The 50-50 raffle pot is at $354. Bennett drew both tickets, but did not win the pot. We're down to TWO cards!!!
