Robin Clare is the new Director of the Seniors Job Bank
Robin Clare, Director of West Hartford's Seniosr Job Bank (SJB), joined us on Monday. She has just come on board and previously worked in insurance and then ran several holistic wellness centers. In Robin's words, when she head of the opening at the SJB, "she jumped at the offer," adding that "she had always loved working with and being around seniors."
Seniors Job Bank (SJB) connects people over 50 looking for part-time and temporary work with businesses, organizations and households seeking workers. One of the most popular requested categories are for home handy folks, but they have many bookkeepers, designers and clerical staffers on hand too. They do not charger for their service, but are supported by local foundations and individual contributions.
